Got to give John credit. So far he has setup 8 guitars for me and each one came back playing and sounding better than before. But the last guitar was special as it was from a family estate. The guitar sounded as if it had potential but the neck and fret board were junk as the guitar had spent the prior two years in a storage shed. Being a series 200 Rickenbacker parts appear to be nonexistent. John straighten the neck and refretted and leveled the fret board. Thanks John!

John did an amazing job w/ the crack on the headstock of my SG… Plays great… The Epi Strat plays great as well.. As long as your around consider me a dedicated customer:-) thanks again John!!

Best guitar/gear repair around. I buy a lot of used and new guitars so I’ve had many guitars over the years
(I swear they’ve become an obsession)and used lots of service techs at various guitar shops, most were good with a few bad ones mixed in but then a fellow guitar guy told me to try JJ guitar and let me just say they have been the best I’ve ever tried, the attention to detail is amazing, they always provides excellent service, and you can really tell the difference in the instrument when finished no matter what the issue is and they can do just about anything to your equipment, they are very skilled in the craft and always do a Wonderful job, I will always take my gear to your shop, definitely the best.

John, As I was at rehearsal on Sunday, I have to say I have never had this LP play so well, Thank you so much, it played like a dream. You are a craftsman to a level that only a few can aspire to be as great as you. THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THE TIME THAT YOU TOOK TO SET UP MY GUITAR, WHAT A DREAM TO HAVE IT PLAY SO WELL, I JUST CAN’T SAY ENOUGH ABOUT YOU AND YOUR TALENT.

John has set up two of my guitars and did a pickup swap on my Les Paul. The turnaround, pricing, and transparency of the whole process was amazing! Can’t wait to have him set up my next guitar.

I’ve had a Taylor 6 string for years and noticed after not playing it after a while the action was tough on my hands. John was able to lower the action and even recommended some strings that make it sing! Top notch.
