Sometimes you feel somethings not right and it’s that last thing to use as an excuse to not play better and more confidently. The brief peace of mind other shop’s setups gave me always led me back to that way of thinking. When I brought my guitars back from Johns shop there was a different “FINE TUNED” feeling altogether. Best analogy I can think of is it felt like he’d given it guitar viagra and now it’s on me to go get laid.

I brought in my Mayones Jabba V custom in to have it set up and have a new preamp installed. I don’t know what voodoo magic John did to my bass, but has NEVER felt or sounded so good. Fantastic work, superb customer service, quick turnaround. Don’t waste your time or money with another shop. Get your work done at JJ guitar repair.

Took in my 40 year old G&L Cavalier electric that I had not played for quite a while due to issues that made it unplayable. I had taken this guitar to other repair shops around town, and they would do a setup and say it’s all good now. I finally stopped playing it until now! He looked it over and told me what he could to bring it back to life. 1 week later I picked it up and now I am so happy to have my favorite back in playing shape. I’m so happy I found his shop! The work was fast, and the price reasonable. I’m telling all my musician friends to go there for repairs.

I took John an old beat up Les Paul I found cheap at a pawn shop today. Just a few hours later it was done. Straightforward process. Repaired severe body damage, corroded metal, adjusted bridge, shined her up, full set-up including new strings and tuned up for around $150. I look forward to going back.
